Figure Sculptures

I started this lesson by talking about proportion of a figure. Students began building their figures with newspaper and masking tape. Once finished, the figures were mounted to a block of wood and covered in plaster wrap to create a hard finish. Each student then painted their figures in a realistic or abstract way.
