Value Grid


Students began by creating a value grid with pencil only. Each student then measured out their grid and created an abstract design using line and shape. There are two variations of this project here. In one, students had to use pencil on one side and colored pencil on the other side, thus getting practice with pencil and color while creating value. I like this version the best. The other was to use two different colored pencils.
