This project is one that a past art teacher (Linda Bradshaw) would do every year with her 5th grade. 5N saw a picture of this project in their teacher classroom and really wanted to make it this year. They were so excited about it I thought, "Sure! Why not?" So I pulled things from the picture to make a similar lesson.
Students looked at artist self portraits and made a witch, goblin or ghoul self portrait of themselves. They came out great!
We surprised Mrs. Nabors by all turning around with our portraits over our faces.
